[Q] Can the Lenmar PowerPort 6600 charge the 8.9 tab?

I was given a Lenmar PowerPort 6600 charger to use on an upcoming business trip. It's a slim brick and has two output ports - 1A and 2.1A.

So I charged it up and then connected the OEM charging cable to the 2.1A output on the PowerPort. Result: nothing.

Anyone else have any experience with this? I'll still take it along to charge my phone, but it would be nice if it could also charge my tab.

After some more searching, came across this solution in the GT 10.1 forums. Big thanks to RaindancerAU for sharing this info. I bought two of these adapters and am now happily charging via usb, including from this Lenmar unit.
