[Q]Can't boot into recovery

Hi, I have a Xoom mz604.
Recently the device has been acting up and i am experiencing multple fc and lag.
I have read how to root and have atempted but i was not able to flash recovery.

Unlock oem (success) > flash recovery (success) > tried to reboot to recovery (failed)
Upon trying to boot to recovery (via adb and vol + power button) i was greeted by the green android lying down with an exclamation mark.
I have tried diffferent recoveries and have check md5. I am open to any suggestion.

A little more detail to the tablet problem. I tried removing my sync accounts and also deleting some apps. But after reboot the apps reappear and the accounts is not remove.

I manage to boot to stock recovery(At the android logo, press power and vol+). But i am still unable to boot to custom recovery.
Fastboot oem unlock > tablet reboots > press vol - after 3 seconds > select fastboot > fastboot flash recovery recovery.img(depending on the file name) > fastboot reboot ) press vol - after 3 seconds > select recovery

Am i missing something? Thanks in advance.
