I don't use 3g to d/l apps because I'm on AT&T's lowest data plan. But the download isn't the problem. The apps download to my phone just fine. I always get them downloaded just fine, but when the installer itself actually starts running it just will not let me click the install button.Have you tried installing the apps using wifi vs 3g?

Same with me, Amazon and the Google Android market really suck.Gave up on Amazon for now for same reason. Tried all the same solutions. Sometimes I can install several apps in a row. Other times a reboot nets me zero success and I have to reboot several times to install one app.
I haven't checked, but I don't care if it does or not. That doesn't solve the fundamental problem of apps not installing correctly, and it wouldn't help at all with updates to apps already purchased.Does Amazon allow you to purchase from the web site and push to the phone like the Android Market does? If so, have you tried it that way? (I'm at work right now, so I can't check it myself.)
Doing the stuff on the Amazon website seems to have fixed the issue for me personally. However, my wife has the exact same setup as I do, and she's still having the problem.Has there been a solution to this issue yet? I'm on an ASUS Transformer with Honeycomb and have the same exact issue.
That is pretty lame. Thanks for the reply though. I really liked all the free apps.Doing the stuff on the Amazon website seems to have fixed the issue for me personally. However, my wife has the exact same setup as I do, and she's still having the problem.
So...yes, no, and maybe.![]()
When I go into settings > applications I have no option to make sure unknown sources is checked. Is there another way to do that?Go to settings> applications and make sure unknown sources is checked.
What Android platform/version are u running ??When I go into settings > applications I have no option to make sure unknown sources is checked. Is there another way to do that?
I was having problems installing the Amazon app store, couldn't click install. When I did a search for people having a problem with not being able to click install on any apps, not just Amazon, I found that they fixed the problem by disabling an app called "Screen Filter". I was not using Screen Filter, but I was using an experimental feature of Juice Defender Ultimate, which automatically adjusts the screen brightness like Screen Filter. After disabling this, I could install the app store.I'm having a strange issue with the Amazon app store. When I try to install apps, they seem to download just fine, but when it reaches the screen with the install & cancel buttons, I cannot push the install button. It's there, and it's not grayed out, but it just will not push down. No error messages at all. Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?
My setup is in my sig. I've already tried clearing cache/app data, but no dice.
My wife noted the same problem on her phone. She couldn't install anything if Screen Filter was running. It still happens from time to time (even when Screen Filter isn't running), but I haven't really had a problem with it for awhile now.I was having problems installing the Amazon app store, couldn't click install. I had the same issue. Turns out neyetlight was the culprit...I was just reading thru this thread due to having the same problem. I did find that another program which affects screen brightness, Lux, was responsible. I got it fixed at the moment from a setting within Lux which turns it off for incompatible programs. If there is not a similar setting in other programs to turn it off with incompatible programs I also found that freezing Lux with Titanium Backup also allowed downloads from Amazon.
Deleted the multiple devices on Amazon account.I had the same issue. Turns out neyetlight was the culprit...
