[Q] Cant see my Thomson WiFi

Hi Guys

My new HTC Gratia won't see my Thomson WiFi. I had the same issue with my HTC HD Mini too although at home it WILL see and connect to my Belkin N so I am unsure what the difference is between the two routers or what I could change here?

The Thomson that I cant see is a TWG870U

Are you using a custom ROM or the original ROM?

I have not changed the phone since i unwrapped it.

Maybe its the channel set on the router for broadcasting. You can either change the channel on the router to something like 11 or so, or you could go in the advanced settings in wifi settings on your phone, then change to first option (Regulatory domain) to the channel set on your router. I'm not sure if the option is available on the stock Gratia rom. Good luck!

Tried that and still no joy, most annoying The option you mention is not on my phone by the way.

Hi Guys

I finally figured this out!

Went into router and changed it from 5ghz to 2.5ghz and et voila now my phone can see it
