hi everyone ,this is my first post on XDA
i recently jumped to android from iphone (iOS) ... i stay in India and have ordered samsung captivate from USA (expecting it to arrive next week!) ,im not sure whether the charger supports 220v ,any captivate owners plz confirm this.
also can i charge captivate thro' USB port? the reason i ask this silly question is that i heard voltage fluctuations do occur thro' USB charging and may screw up the phone ....since it supports 110v! cannot confirm this anywhere!
plz help!

I can charge mine fine via USB port although it seems slower than when i'm plugged in a socket. I'm not so sure about the voltage issues though but on my charger it says
INPUT: 100V-240V with 50-60Hz and .15 Amperes
OUTPUT:5.0V = .7A

240v will work in India
