[Q] Car stereo not showing song info

From what I understand this is an AVRCP issue. My question is has anyone found a solution to it, or does everyone just live with it?

The new Android Level 18 API has the right AVRCP version to fix this issue. Unfortunately, it looks like it's going to be exclusive to future Android versions, so it's not going to be of any use to us until Android 4.3 comes out. I've been frustrated by the same issue for a couple of years now.

CM 10 yes - but then in CM 10.1, it reverted back to the old AVRCP so the issue is back:
