[Q] Carmount with skin on?

Has anyone had any luck finding a car mount that will work with a skin installed?

I have a Griffin Windowseat Aux mount that works but is a tight fit with a skin fitted.

I have just had to have it replaced after about 5 months use as the original one broke but I am not sure if it is a one off or it was caused by being too tight fit?

If you are in the UK then Halfords have them reduced at £15 currently from £20.

Forget my previous comments. My replacement mount has just broken in the same place so let's just say it doesn't work with a DHD in a skin.

Looks like I am looking for a different mount myself ! Lol

Hi, i got a car mount from Amazon.de and my DHD in a case mate. It's perfect and stable. It called HR car mount and cost about 15 EUR.

I got an uber cheap £3.50 universal one from Tesco and its been fine with my DHD/Otterbox..

I use a Clingo car mount. It works for any handset whether in a case or not. They are pretty good, I've had it for around 6 months now.
