Is there any way to change the band version on Note 3 N900T, LTE (Band 4 -> Band 3)? Because in my country, there are only Band 3 supported networks.. :(

And another question, Can I use all the firmwares of N9005 to N900T?? If I converted it into N9005??

(Without changing whole phone or motherboard :D :D )

Dial *#2263# then select option 4 LTE Band preferences.
It may or may not let you switch to Band 3, but it is an option. Never tried it myself.

just choose the band hit menu and back and choose a different band to apply. unfortunately the note 3 doesn't support it. I always check phone Arena to see those specs.

if the hardware is same (N9005 and N900T), will international rom do it for me? I mean will it support to LTE B3 if I flash an international rom to my N900T??

Or kernel change or baseband change???? (I have no idea about them cz Im new with N900T platform..)

Unfortunately software cannot change hardware limitations. however I believe the LTE band 3 is supported and I may have read the specs wrong on the website. are you trying to access 1800MHz on LTE? which is Band 3.

just go into the phone dialer and hit *#2263# Then click LTE Band Preference and click B3. Obviously you must have the Sim card from that carrier that supports Band 3. And you should be good to go. And LTE/WCDMA works too, so you can have 4G/LTE.

That is the problem.. I can't hit Band 3 (I just can but nothing change).. But I can hit on Band 2 or Band 4.... and also it will put a star in-front of it.. But when I clicked on Band 3 nothing change (no star coming in-front of Band 3..)

strange I can't either, however it does say it does support it? did you try just LTE/WCDMA?

Don't worry about Knox, it's a possibility that changing the modem to an international one as well as international rom so long as that modem supports it.

International N9005 supports LTE in here already.. But mine N900T.. So that is the problem..

Cz Im not sure the compatibility of N9005 modem with my N900T.. or it will bricked or something.. Cz Im really new with my N900T.. Only 3days yet after I borrow this phone.. So bit afraid :D

Hmm so there is no way, except flashing other modem.. is that right??

I would ask someone that's a little more knowledgeable with modems, that area isn't my strong suit. compatibility issues could arise but that's my guess, as well as bricking. however I do remember someone with the N900T and was running an international rom but not sure if it was running the modem too or not.

Check out this thread. I've done this on a Verizon S5 G900V and a T-Mobile Note 3 N900T.
Note that you will need to be on stock firmware to do this. After it's done you can flash different ROM's of your choice and the changes will stick.
