Power off your RAZR, connect the USB cable and plug it into the wall charger. The Motorola logo appears, then an animated battery with sloshing liquid indicating the charge level to the nearest 10%.
On CDMA releases 6.11.744 and .748 the LED also lit to indicate the state of charge - red, amber or green. With CDMA release 6.12.173 the LED does not light. The LED was very useful to me, and I'd like to find a way to get it back.
I'm wondering if one of you developers familiar with the system knows what happened to the LED indicator. Or, if you understand the boot sequence and where this power-off charging mode is initiated, perhaps you can tell me where in the filesystem to look for changes.
