Hello,

My HTC Sensation uses a GB 2.3.4 ROM, so I decided to upgrade to ICS. This is what I did :

downloaded PkMn Charmeleon 5.1 ROM, boot into recovery, installed it via Aroma installer and then reboot. My phone didn't work, so I followed the thread and saw this post : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28032892&postcount=2226
I downloaded it and used bootloader to install PG58IMG.zip, but it gives me this error :

CID Incorrect!
Update Fail!

Here's more info about my device ( shown on top of boot loader ) :

PYRAMID PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
HBOOT-1.27.1100
RADIO-10.11.9007.27_M3
eMMC-boot

I have no idea what to do now. Can anyone help please

ok looks like the radio is still old one gb one ..thats why your are bootlooping..this happened because the your firmware flash failed in the middle (CID fail)
get the 3.32 universal non TMOUS (if you are T-MOBILE us user firmware get the universal TMOUS one--which i highly doubt it as your name says otherwise ;) ) from here
flash it again ...using the instructions present in the same thread

then you will boot up fine

Thanks

Hi Ganeshp,

Thank you very much for the info. As you suggested I downloaded Firmware 3.32 Universal (Non-TMOUS) and my device booted correctly. But I have no idea why wifi is not working. Also 3G is not working as well. I checked Charmeleon 5.1 for these bugs, but only wifi tether is there as a bug. Any idea what could cause the problem?

Thanks :)

What I did in recovery:
1. Wipe data/factory reset
2. Wipe cache

Then installed the new ROM via "install from zip file"

now 3G seems to work on & off ( not always, ) but is wifi not working at all :(

It seems something didn't flashed well..
What custom recovery are you using?
Change it to 4EXT and then
Check the md5 of the rom.zip (its there in 4EXT- install zip from sdcard - check md5)
And then
Use 4EXT- wipe/format- format all partitions except sdcard

Then reflash the rom

I installed another ROM ( Virtuous Inquisition ICS 4.0.3 ) and to my surprise, again wifi doesn't work!
Wifi used to work properly with GB ROM 2.3.4 and after installing ICS I can't work with wifi. is it a bug or maybe there's a hardware failure on my device?
How can I check?

I should mention that as my volume button is detached from my HTC Sensation cover, I detach the cover from my HTC device and then install the OS. I have no idea, but I thought this could be the cause. I'll try to install a ROM while the cover is attached tonight

Thanks
