I think the TP has a more pronounced curve to the back and with it's bevelled sides (as opposed to the iPads straight ones) I'm not sure any hard case will hold it, but the only way to find out is try it and see.

I bought a griffin standle (iPad1) to see if it would fit or could be made to fit. The top and bottom halves were a good millimeter apart when the TP was inside and could not be made to meet. The TP is shorter/thinner in height/width as well as deeper so no form fitting hard iPad1 case is going to work.

The TouchPad dimensions are 9.45 x 7.45 x 0.54 in. (240 x 189 x 14 mm) and it weighs 26.10 oz (740 g)

If you get the inside dimensions of the case in question you can tell easily.
Remember, size DOES matter - bigger is ok, smaller is not. ;)

Clamcase with HP Touchpad

Bumping this old thread. Did anyone every find out if the Clamcase for the iPad 1st generation will fit an HP touchpad? I'm looking for a good solid keyboard case w/my HP Touchpad and all the faux leather silicon-based keyboard ones out there suck..

So... WILL THE CLAMCASE (IPAD 1 VERSION) FIT THE HP TOUCHPAD??
