Hi all.

I know there are number of posts in forum about sd card speeds and preferences. But everyone says different from the other about exact performance. Both sd and nand android versions need a fast sd card to work smoother. That makes me want to change my 8gb Class2 sdhc with 8gb Class10 sdhc one --> http://www.e-piix.com/memory-cards/team-micro-sdhc-class-10-8gb.html

Write speed with class2 card is 3,5-4 mb/s and read is about 14,5-15 (Tested using sd tools, on hyperdroid cm7 nand rom). Will a class10 sdhc improve my smoothness or make me experience a faster android? Anyone has experience with a class10 card? Or any ideas?

i think brand is more important than class. for me class2 sandisk has smoother than class4 toshiba. i strongly recommend sandisk. and i think class4 is fairly enough.

Agreed, stick with Sandisk. My Kingston 16GB class 4 is cheaper than a Sandisk but apparently is not read by MAGLDR for SD Android, so I can't boot more than NAND Android. I think that all Sandisk cards are supported.

Ok, thanks. If you have a sandisk, could you add a test result then?

OMG  Is it an original kingston? I have a 8 gb sdhc class2 card and it doesnot even have a brand :D But works well with magldr :) So, thank u :)

there was a thread about that in xda moths ago.can you please google it. and test results may be faulty. because standart read write speeds has nothing to do with android. if you can find that thread you'll see many interesting results with different brands.

I don't understand what's so surprising? Are Kingstons not common in your area?

And yeah, there was a really good thread a while ago which showed that in some ways the class 2 cards outperformed the class 10 cards by miles, whilst in others they were thrashed. Also showed good details about brand.
