[Q] CM 11 issues - Do I have the correct Hboot?

Hey Guys,

I hope that someone can help me.

So I got my hands on a Desire S, it was running stock so I decided to install CM11.

I unlocked the phone through HTC dev, Installed recovery and root then backed up my current rom and tried to install CM11.

It flashed OK but would not boot, I then remebered that I needed to fastboot the boot img, which I did but it would still not boot!

Then I tried

I scratched my head over this for a while, in the end I flashed an ICS rom, just so that i could use the phone.

Then I took a look at the Hboot currently showing, the phone shows 2.02.0002.

My question is in order for CM11 to boot do I need to downgrade the Hboot??

No, any hboot will work. Have you checked your panel type?

Thanks for confirming that I though I was going mad, as I recently installed CM11 on a DHD and didn't have any issues.

I will check the panel type later today.
