[Q] CM10 - Android Email App not syncing

I upgraded the phone to CM10. After adding my work (IMAP, SSL) email account, the email app says that it is "Waiting for sync" and that "Your email will appear soon". But this never happens. I also tried to add a regular gmail account to this email app and it doesn't work as well.
I have tried over WiFi and 3G. The native Gmail App works fine.
Can anyone help?
