I created a CM10 image on a class 4 GSkill 8GB microSD card. It seems to work fine, but I'm experiencing slowness in rendering and responsiveness in both the default browser and Dolphin. It also seems to be draining a lot of power - assuming heavy CPU consumption. I just ordered a San Disk Extreme Pro from Amazon. I should get it tomorrow. I don't tinker with the Android kernel much , or at all, but I can't see how slow random writes would cause lag in a web browser since disk writes of cache data should be done by a separate thread.

I would post this in the main CM10 thread, but I'm new and it won't let me post in the dev threads. TIA for any advice and/or feedback.

I didn't boot time test using two different cards(see my post in another thread)

I heard tablet performance is mainly affected by 4K read/write. Sandisk cards always are good at 4K write(way ahead of others for the class 4 cards). It would be nice to run some kind of browser benchmark to see the measurable data. Is there a benchmark like this ?
