[Q] CM9 Kernel (Defy+)

Hi, I've got one question. OK, I am using defy+, android 2.3.6, cm9 nightly from for defy+. How come I can't flash cm kernel on my defy+? Whenever I flashed it and reboot, I will go straight into boot loader menu. But luckily I was able to flash full sbf and revived it again... so, any help on how to flash cm kernel on my defy+?
