[Q] Connect a Professional Microphone to Xoom or any Android

I don't know if i should post it here or in Xoom Accesories. I'm sorry if it's not the right forum. If it is not please tell me and I'll post it there.​

Hi people, i want to connect a professional microphone to my motorola xoom. Since we can connect handsfree to talk, i think there must be a way to make a cable to connect a professional one (or any microphone..)

So i searched in xda and googled. And i only found this page (sorry, it's in spanish, but it has images)

It's a proyect for Iphone, but i think, if Iphone can, it must work for android.

What do you think? Will this do? When i have some free time i I'll try this, but that will be in about twenty days I think...
