HTC said that Sensation has contoured glass, anybody knows what is the real meaning of that?
It also uses gorilla glass, so it should be even more resistant to scratches from the off.I believe the reason for doing that is so when the phone is lying face down the screen isn't touching whatever surface its on.
i.e. helps prevent scratches

That's that the Nexus S page has to say about the Contour DisplayBrilliant 4” Contour Display
Nexus S is manufactured by Samsung, and it is the first smartphone to launch with a Contour Display. The curved glass screen fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and along the side of your face.
The difference is the Nexus S display was slightly curved, whereas the Sensation only has curved edges, like a ridge running around the edge of the screen, so that description isn't accurate for the Sensation. That's that the Nexus S page has to say about the Contour Display
