Hi all,
I'm on a Gingerbread 2.3.4 JVP (Stock from samfirmware.com + root) and simply want a Kernel that has full BLN (BackLightNotification) and CWM (ClockWordMod) support, so I can get my led notifications, and also use ROM Manager.
I can either install neldar's Kernel to get BLN to work (although not with SMS notifications due to known issue at present) (from here)
Or I can install supercurio's Kernel to get ROM Manager to work (from here) - Note, many other CWM Kernels I tried wouldn't work with ROM Manager as they hadn't set CWM recovery as default recovery.
If I install the CWM Kernel and then add the BLN zip install on top, it still allows CWM recovery to be accessed, but not as default, and therefore doesn't allow ROM Manager to function.
So my question is, does a Kernel exist that will do both of these?
If not, is there a simple way of unpacking another image file (eg, supercurio's) and incorporating the BLN Mod into it?
(Before anyone asks, I am on International GT-i9000)
Ps. The error with ROM Manager is getting the following error whenever trying to do anything (boot into recovery, backup, etc...)
