Hello,

I want to help a friend of mine to get CM working on his Galaxy Fit and the only remaining problem is that I seem to be unable to find a good CWM Recovery for his device. I searched the forum, but I haven't found any recent recoveries which should be stable. Can someone advise me a recovery which is above all stable, as the last thing I want to do is brick his phone.

Thanks in advance!

But is it possible that I can install this CWM Recovery on his phone that currently runs the stock ROM and later flash CM7 using CWM Recovery after I flashed CWM Recovery using Odin? And can you confirm this is safe?
You can i need install this CWM on your stock ROM with ODIN for install custom ROM
such as CM7, CM9,CM10 etc. I do.

There are ROMs with one file and ROMs with 4 files. On images you have how to install the ROM with one file and ROM with 4 file.

1.Make sure you don't have kies installed.
2.Run Odin in Administrator mode if using windows7
3.Try other usb ports too, remove usb devices that are not needed atm.
4.Last option:
Disconnect your phone from the Computer
Open Device Manager
Go to Start Devices and Printer.(Windows 7)
Then right-click Device Manager.(Windows 7)
Look Down at Universal Service...
Expand it and look at USB Composite Device.Right-Click on it and Uninstall.
or
Uninstall everything in there.
Connect Device Open Odin and Enjoy

It's normal for official Samsung roms. Once u flash any custom rom, it will disappear.
