[Q] Cyanogen mod 10.2 emoji!?

I have installed cyanogen mod 10.2 and my smiley key on my google keyboard no longer shows emojis! Only the old white symbols and basic Smiley's! I have installed emoji dictionary and enabled them on my SMS app but I can only see them, not type them!

Is there a mod or something I need to activate to get them to work?

Because CM10.2 is Android 4.3 and 4.3 don't support emojis.
So Android 4.4 have them
