iv read about this problem alot but mine seems a slightly bit different to the others so bear with me..
ok so i got my atrix and straight out the box the wifi works and gives me access to internet data on all my apps and the browser
3G works but only on the browser for example if i try too use an app that uses data like if i try to upload a photo on facebook or find some directions on google maps or try and open the android market.. i have no hope at all, just takes forever and times out or says theres no connection
and then theres the cell data, no 3g no wifi just full bars off cell data lol with this all i can do is send texts and call people no data nothing, if i try to access and program that uses data without 3g i just get a correction error..
i took my atrix too the tmobile shop too see if they could help, they said call 150 and speak to technition.. (worth the hour journey i know
) so i did, i spent an hour on the phone to him and we manually entered the apn settings, tryed reboots, he refreshed my account and told me to put the sim card in and out, make sure data options on the phone are ticked, i did everything he said but still nothing happened, and he couldnt think of anything else...
the last thing he said is that i can either get my sim replaced for a newer one because my current one is over 4 years old and if that doesnt work get a new device...
what do you guys think the problem could be? because i think the atrix is fine seeing as it can get data on all the other options, but would a new simcard really fix this? i heard that some newer cards are special "3g" simcards that handle data better but this could be a rumour i guess..
