[Q] Desire HD not opening and vol down key not working !!!

Hi ;

i was on JellyTime 4.2 R6.1 rom. My battery was low and a call came. i answered and phone off. i put charge and open the phone. it ran normally , htc logo came , jelly time logo came but on jelly time logo phone shut down. i waited on charging 30 minutes.

I tried again but it stays on jelly time screen and shot downs.i guess my phone is brick down. i can't open recovery mode because my vol down key is not working. :crying:

what can i do ? how can i rebot my phone in recovery mode ? what can i do else ? pls help. thx.

I hope you didnt take out your battery when in charging. There is some cases (if i am not mistaken with another phone) where taking out the battery during charging can fry the emmc chip. I read this a long time ago and i forgot which thread. But i dont know whether this faulty trait of our chip is already fixed in newer build.

reboot recovery is not a shell command, It is just:

adb reboot recovery
