I think I'm just going to pick up a set of the anti-glare ones, it seems like a waste but I really can't stand the glossy version. So there's nobody who would do an even trade with me for their spare? :p

I bought an anti-glare screen on Monday when B&N finally got them back in stock. A huuuge improvement. Fingerprint smudges are non-existent. The friction for slide-type keyboard apps is also a huge improvement.

whats wrong with the clear ones besides still being resistant to the glide?

Got the one from Best Buy also a while back. Very serviceable and easy to clean. Unit is in a case and protector keeps opposing flap/sleeve from scratching. Also applied skin from decalgirl. Looks great!

I'm looking for a good screen protector that can reduce glare, and so far it's a toss up between a Bodyguardz custom one and the B&N anti-glare one. Are the cheap, anti-glare ones from ebay any good? :D

I picked up a set from B&N yesterday...had the nook gal put mine on just to make sure it got done right, but it looked like it went on better then the crystal protectors on my dinc. It seems to cut the glare nice, and I definitely prefer the texture over the bare glass.

clear screen protector?

Just wondering if anyone tried the B&N clear screen protector. I use to have the anti-glare protector on my phone and noticed the screen wasn't as vivid, almost pixely. Just curious. Anyone have pics of the anti glare on their nook, quite interrested in seeing what it looks like.

I got a cheap one along with a cheap case from ebay, and it was very bad compared to the orignal B&N, much too many bubbles...ended up discarding it and replacing with the original (second one from the pack, first one slightly messed up by my fault).

Has anyone tried both the normal and the anti-glare screen protectors from B&N? Does the anti-glare one make the words/smaller images appear fuzzy or just a little less bright? I had a Steinheil anti-fingerprint matte screenprotector on my phone and it made me giddy after a while because of the fuzziness. I don't need glare to be entirely reduced, but some elimination will be good. I'm also considering Screenguardz as I read a review by an ipad user, as well as one on ebay sold by Citigeeks.

Im using my Nook to watch videos. Will this make them look worse or will the reduction of glare help me not get distracted with seeing my own reflection? :)

Thanks for all the replies! My nookcolor is with a relative in the US. I just bit the bullet and bought a case from ebay even though I was eyeing one from B&N too.

Can any kind souls sell me their spare, B&N brand screen protector? If so, please drop me a PM. I haven't quite decided on whether to get the clear or anti-glare one, but if you have one or both of them, do let me know! :D
