[Q] Difference between Media Server and Google Music?

I'm a bit confused regarding battery usage and certain processes. Specifically, media server and the Google Music app. I've done some searching and am still unsure.

From what I've read: Google Music is the interface to access music, whereas media server actually plays it.

Would I be correct in saying that? If that is the case, why would Google Music use 11% of my battery?

Media server handles any audio, including touch click sounds etc. Thats why its showing up.
Thank you :) so that would explain a relatively high battery consumption from Media server. But why would Google Music then also have a high battery consumption, if Media server is actually handling the audio?
