i'm really sorry if this has been asked, but i have looked, maybe not as long as i could have. but i didn't find any questions that asked what i wanted to know. if its as simple as me trying all the radio roms then someone just send me a message saying that and mods can delete this or w/e it is you do here.

us t-mobile htc leo/hd2 (16 gb microsd)

[FroyoStone Sense - V3.2][Kernel: linux_on_wince_htc 2.6.32.15]
r: 2.12.50.02~2
g: 15.40.50.07u
d: 2.10.82076 8G

bootloader screen shows:
PB81120 SS-b3
spl-2.05.HSPL 8G XE
0x05
cotullaHSPL 0x50

and that's about all i've done to it. dont know what all you'll need to answer the question but that should be it. now onto the question at hand, so after i did all that, booted up android os with only one problem. it couldn't connect to the internet through the 3g network or any other network for that matter. unless i connected to my wifi network, but that doesn't help to much at work or school.

so my question is; should i just flash every radio until i get one that works? or am i a dumbfuck and got the wrong build or something along those lines.

btw, the build works amazing beside that one little thing.

Go into Settings > Wireless and Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names

If that is empty or has invalid options for your network/carrier, that is your problem. It's very common these are incorrect, we cannot expect the cooks to get everyones settings right all the time.

If you suspect your APN's are wrong, look here for a list of settings that may work (not guaranteed 100% but mine work brilliantly)

Basically those settings may be incorrect for your carrier. Check the link I posted in my previous post and compare whatever settings you have on your phone under the menu I listed, and make sure they match to the carrier settings next to your carrier in the link I posted above.

Remember to save them, you shouldn't have to reboot, but it may be a good idea, and you should be good to go with at least partial data. I don't know what network/carrier you're on so I cannot tell you exactly what APN settings you should use, hence why I gave you the link for a huge selection.

so i manually enter the APN that is for my carrier? which is t-mobile if it helps. and i'm in the US.

how do i know which t-mobile APN to use?

also, after entering 5 different APNs and clicking save it hasn't saved any of them. should i just flash a different radio and see if that fixes the problem?
