He already did. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63688527&postcount=39Can you post an updated version please! I've been using this for a few months now. Thanks
Thanks just saw your post. Confirmed working
May be he can edit it to install under a different package name that way two versions of the app are installed one for live tv and one for on demand. Also working for me on stock 6.0. Thanks, sytanek !!
Any chance you can get the "on demand" part working too?
I suspect that it isn't currently possible to have both the on demand and live pages accessible at the same time. You can use the original version of the app from Google Play to access on demand content or use sytanek's modified version for live TV but I don't think you can have both installed at the same time (unless the package name is also modified as suggested in post #44 by morphfxf). Also working for me on stock 6.0. Thanks, sytanek !!

Does that trick work for the menu button too? Thanks just saw your post. Confirmed working

Neat trick I discovered - You can use the remote to select which channel to watch. Just remember how many times you click down to a row and how many times you press left or right and you can select the channel you want to watch. So suppose you want to watch CNN click down once and click right 3 times. Although it you don't visually see you are selecting an item it will be selected.
Unfortunately not if you are above 5.1, unless you are somehow able to view the menu then you should see that clicking on the remote in the menu does work on Pre-Lollipop 5.1.Does that trick work for the menu button too?
I've never used lollirock but in the system permissions menu, does it have the advanced menu with an extra item for system access similar to the way phones do?unfortunately its not working on a fresh install of lollirock 6.0 v1.1 for me. it goes back to the channels screen after acquiring playback license.
Do you mean the live channels app? How did you configure it ?So I have been using the live TV app, and its working great! But I was wondering if anyone has been able to get the on demand part of the app working?
Leanback Launcher!Sorry still can't figure out how to focus on the username login box.

The thing that sucks about that is that prior to 5.1, there was a compatibility issue between the nexus player and my Vizio P Series 4K TV, which caused there to be no audio at all.Anyone who wants Xfinity TV2go with live, on demand working and the menu buton working
should downgrade to Lollipop prior 5.1 (I installed LRX21V)
Follow the instruction from
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images?hl=en
Unlock your bootloader and at the end do not lock back your bootloader
instead install twrp and root it.
Use any root explorer (I use es file explorer)
make/mount the system as RW
Go to system/etc/security
rename otacerts.zip into otacerts.zip.bak (This will block the any OTA update)
Sideload the latest Xfinity TV2GO from play store.
I have been using it without modification and live channel, on demand and menu selection working fine.
