Asphalt 8 and Modern Combat work fine, however the first one might require 256mb of swap to run lagfree. :good:
Didn't test those games on lollipop however, last time I played was back in my stock 4.3 days :D

Cause i might buy this device (yes i know its pretty old but still gold ;) ) im asking cause i bought a device that didnt run gta sa cause of tegra 2 and i dont want that happens again ;D
U say lagfree ;D? On which settings hope not on low ;D
Does lolipop boosts the phone? Less ram consumption faster of opening apps and the rest :D compared to 4.3?
Thx for the answer though

Honestly? If you want to do gaming with a phone, get one with more ram.
Xperia V is an awesome device without big issues (both on software and on hardware), but the battery is really small (4 hours of screen on time when doing usual stuff, 1-1.5 hours when gaming) and of the advertised 1gb ram, only 768mb appear to be usable, and that makes modern games quite likely to lag (unless swap is used)
Lollipop and stock 4.3 didn't do much good to ram management either - On my phone, with a minimal setup of apps only 250-300mb is actually usable.

If I talk about lagfree gaming, I mean 'without stuttering'.. However, were talking about ~30fps here.
That said, due to the lower resolution and quite modern cpu technology I managed to beat the S4 in AnTuTu's graphics score, and, running my overclocked personal custom kernel, also the S3 in general benchmark score. :D

So, the phone is definitely worth its price (and not going to die too soon, I will care about that :D), but it might not be the best choice for gaming. :)

Hope this helps mate :)

In my humble opinion, if you have such a choice, get the Xperia Z.. The quad core cpu will certainly make a difference.. And you have a larger development community, so you can be quite sure to always have the latest CyanogenMod officially supporting your phone. In addition, battery life is much better. :)
