hi i had swapped my iphone 5 recently for a s4 gt-i9505..but unfortunately it was factory locked to SMART carrier here in the philipphines.
i had a s4 before so i have basic knowledge on rooting, but my question now is does rooting my s4 now also makes it factory unlocked?

by the way, i would also like to get your advise regarding external memory, i am going to buy a new micro sd card, but i am confused what to buy
a 32gb sd card or upgrade to a 64gb?does having a 64gb make it laggy or may cause any problem?i have searched the net and saw some issues regarding having a 64gb sd card..thank you in advance for the help..

Hi

Rooting don't mean unlocking. On the i9505 you can actually unlock without rooting. Look at this and try out

About the SD card the S4 is fully compatible with 64gb (is what I use daily without a single issue) just be sure not to buy a crappy cheap one.

If you got it off ebay from a seller who only just started up, probably not... If you buy from ebay, make sure the person you are buying from has been there awhile, It takes time to build a good rep so people aren't in so much off a hurry to ruin it. Also make sure to read all negative feedback, ANYONE can write good feedback, its the neutral and bad feedback that tells you about the seller...
