Yeah it blocks it but now it can still be remapped again. You may also get DQA errors too. Do a search and you can read up on those.
Can you point me to info on remapping after the update? I've been avoiding installing the tmobile version of the update.

The app I used was "bxactions" in the google play store. It has option to map it to other actions. I also think Android central had an article to several apps as well.
And this worked after the update they put out to block remapping?
