[Q] does the Sensation 4G have a Internal GPS Antenna?

guys somewhere i saw it does but i dont remember where i saw it

but i know the sensation xl have it. i just wanted to know, cause the gps gets instant lock and give 100% location of where i am.
comparing to others android phones this one is the best i seen.

so thats why i was asking thought some phones search the gps from a satellite and takes then 5 minutes for the first lock and then 5-30 seconds later.

Yes it has real GPS, will still work without connection to a network. Lock is fairly quick, usually right after the map loads. Some ROM's are faster than others

no wonder. my other phone (g2x) its fast after it gets its first lock. but its very slow with slow network connection.

Just to expand on the answer to your question, the actual GPS antenna is in the back case of your phone. This is why the signal is so good because HTC designed the phone well. If you took the back off and exposed the battery, micro sd card etc... you would find gps, wifi and cellular signal would all plumet
