I have a Moto X first gen Developer Edition. I "upgraded" to Lollipop BIG MISTAKE for me!

numerous bugs and apps hanging up (either white or black screen). Not receiving Data over 4G LTE despite a topped up account and turning that on in the settings. Multiple times. Factory reset made things more buggy, not less.

Desperately want to downgrade to KitKat as phone is useless to me right how except as a pocket sized 'butt-let' sized wi-fi device.

Please, how can I downgrade.

I am sad, I this is like Microsoft in the 90's all over again. Uglier skin, moving stuff for no reason and it doesn't work well, all billed as an .. 'upgrade'.

thanks

You have 2 options

1. Flash another rom (stable) im on lollipop without bugs i can send you the link of my rom if you want

2. Download the motorola factory image and restore all things except motoboot.bin and gpt.bin, most users say it works but im not sure, it can be dangerous, if you choose this option you should wait a profesional

Lollipop was a mistake

I also upgraded to Lollipop on my 1st Gen Moto X. It keeps crashing.
Phone has no contacts. The devic is getting overheater without mobile data or wifi or any location services.
Battery is draining out almost every 2 hours.
Please suggest me a way to go back to kitkat.

- This worked for me (XT1052 - unlocked BL). But again, you're doing this at your own risk .
