[Q] downloading third party app destroyed quality of images

Model SM-P600, Android version 4.4.2, Kernel version 3.4.39-1462259. On flight on Southwest airlines, I downloaded the app from Southwest to get on the internet for a movie. The colors of the images changed. white became black, vice versa, etc. What a mess. I deleted the app, but the problem still exists. When I turn the machine on, the images are fine for about 5 seconds, then the images change color. I have done a no no. Help. I would like to be back the way the machine was before the download of the app. Thank you.
