I dropped my Sensation yesterday about 6 feet onto a hardwood floor.
It landed flat on the back and turned off. I could not get it to turn back on. I took out the battery and then tried charging it. I took it to T-MO and they replaced the battery and it came back on.

Today was the last day to do non warraty replacement. The store wouldn't replace it because they said that they fixed it. Should I be worried that the phone is going to die again? What could cause the battery to fail just from dropping it?

Thanks!

in the hd2 forum alot of people thought they phone died intill me and a couple others told them to check the battery post, shor nuff thats what it was. somtime when you drop you phone the impact pushes your battery post upwards not allowing the phone to get power, it happen to me when i went to pull the battery out thats when i notice the post were bent upwards, and i bet the tmobile rep notice it. snake could have told you, batterys dont just die from dropping
