[Q] E:/Failed to mount /sdcard <no such file or directory>

Hello team,

I need some help here on how to resolve this issue.
I have a MZ604 model ( Motorola Xoom wifi only 32GB) currently running on 4.0.4 and would like to update / Flash 4.4.4 (Omni or EOS)
My xoom is rooted, but when ever i go to recovery and flash to install update from SD card its saying that error.

I can access my external SD card with any file explorer without any issue, It detects very well in windows and open the drive as soon as i connect with cable.

so can you let me know steps to follow on how should i resolve this. like
1. what to download?
2. Where can i find those ?
3. what steps should i follow?o
