[Q] E:unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]

Anytime I wipe Dalvik Cache I get the following message.

E:unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]

I haven't altered any of the settings in my phone (that I know of) and I seem able to read from my sd card just fine so I don't think it's negatively affecting anything but I'd like to know why I get this and what it means.

iYeah thanks for asking that question, I've been meaning to ask that too except I get that when I nandroid, anything else is fine. It tells me that or it tells unable to read find extsd etc. My memory is fat32 and my cwm and rom support both fat and extfat.

Hey guys, yea I get the same problem, I've been trying to reflash my ROM but I get a error, status 6. So I figured I'd try factory reset but now I get this error.

Just ignore it and flash away. Why not install TWRP?

That means you don't have any app in the external SD.

About the error 6. Download the ROM again.
