[q] eg31 sbl. Tar with ics fd02?

Ok before i do anything stupid, i just wanna makesure... Is it alright to flash the EG31 SBL.TAR file while im running calkulin's FD02ICS2v1.4? Just wanna be able to use my jig in case of emergencies. Thanks to anyone that can help...youguys are the best

You can flash the eg31 sbl .tar on ICS. It will not affect anything with the rom. In case you dont trust me, I have done it to 3 phones(including my own) running ICS. It is fine.

Alright man I've seen a few others post this as well. So should i flash with regular Odin or mobile Odin? I just really don't want to get a brick and messing with b the boot loader can be dangerous especially with ics. also do i need to do a wipe or format before hand?

Flash with regular ODIN. Nothing else you need to do, other than insert your jig.

Just thanked you man just have one more question. if i flash the eg30 bootloader and then decide to change to a different rom will i have to Odin the bootloader again with the new rom or will it keep that bootloader?

Unless you flash leaked tars directly from Samsung/Sprint, you should still have the EG30 bootloader.

Alright man i think I'll flash it. Thanks sfhub you're the man. Love all the auto roots.. I'm rooted thanks to your work. I trusty your advice. Thanks again alright i flashed it and all went well. Rebooted fine. So i powered down and tested the jig but it still didn't work. Im thinking i have a bad jig. I'll just order another one off of Amazon or something. Thanks for all the help. Even on the new bootloader, the jig will still get you into ODIN DL mode, it just won't reset the stats. So if your jig wasn't getting into ODIN DL mode, then there is something wrong with it.
