[Q] Evo 3d Partitions

I was wondering if the MTD partition map will ever be able to be used on the evo 3d. I had this on my epic and in combination with YAFFS the phone was noticeably faster/smoother. I don't know all the details about it, and Im not asking for an eta, just want to know if it's possible.

yes its possible but there isnt much demand for it. as a matter of fact i think you're the first

Yes it's possible BUT the MTD remap doesn't work since this device is an eMMC device, and not MTD. A dev "dastin1015" and I tried a few different hackish ways to reapply the mod to an eMMC device, with no success, all of which were recovery patches like the original one. We did some number crunching and figured IF you were on an AOSP base, you'd pick up about .7 gigs. Worth it imho, but without some dev with subsantial knowledge in rewriting partition sizes for eMMC, I don't see it going anywhere. It would be fun, and I'd surely test anything (since I already have lol). Maybe we'll get lucky and some secret or not-so-secret superdev will see this and decide to take on the project.
