I have a Kindle Fire 2nd edition that I want to put CM on. Part of the instructions is to run this in fastboot mode: fastboot -i 0x1949 getvar product
So I ran it in the command prompt, and it says "waiting for device". I then shut down the KF and plugged it in to the computer. The display shows it being in Fastboot mode, but the command prompt is still saying "waiting for device". It's supposed to display the product type.
When I go to the Device Manager, under Other Devices, it says 'Otter2-Prod-04'.
What am I doing wrong?
