[Q] fastboot stuck on waiting for device

Try plugging in a pair of headphones and taking them out, had many phones do this. Got through the bootloader unlock process this morning but couldn't copy and paste the key code to HTC, so I took a pic, lol...

Yeah, I believe so. Also, I just remembered, when I was doing a driver update (turns out there's multiple ways to update drivers with the same result) in a little window before browsing for the driver, it showed my HTC 1.0.XX and my HTC 2.0.1XX and I believe I highlighted the my HTC 2.0.1XX then clucked "have disk".
I'll try to get a screenshot in a minute, if I can.

In the meantime, this weird headset looking icon (or hearing aid) showed up in my notification bar yesterday and I CANNOT figure out what the hell it is. I've been all through settings and just am stumped and feeling really stupid. Anyone know what this is?

To remove icon go to settings, then call, then you will see hearing aid. Unmark it.

install PDAnet on your device .. follow procedure of installation carefully ( should be installed on both pc and phone ) and when it was installed .when u enter your bootloader your phone will be recognize by your pc and wait for device will gone .
the method tested by me and took me one month two years ago to find .. on my g nexus first try to unlock .

PDAnet isntall drivers and everything you need to use adB commands ... if it helped give me thanks and let me know by pm .

installed PDAnet n phone and pc still waiting for device. Device manager says video controller! under android. What?
