Hello,
my questions relates to this threat: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1782009 , but I can not post my question there because I am new.
I'm thinking about flashing the ROM by bruce2728 on my Sensation. I know i would lose all my data when doing this. But my question is: When the Cyanogenmod 10 is released official by the Cyanogenmodteam for my Sensation, could I flash it over the ROM by Bruce without losing my data?

Thank you for the answers.

You can try but make a nandroid backup first, because restoring data to another ROM will probably break it. Restore apps only with titanium should be okay, but you can't expect data for another build to work.

This is the correct asnwer.

You can always try it. But it may not work.

Making a full backup with Titanium, doing a full wipe, flashing a new ROM, and reinstalling all your apps and data takes about 20-30 minutes depending on how many apps you have and how many specific settings you need to redo on the new ROM (like notification bar power widgets and screen brightness and stuff like that)

So it's not an all day, hard to do process like the first time you rooted a phone. It's pretty simple and painless. Redoing apps and settings with Titanium is more boring than difficult. And even then it's a half hour process.
