[Q] FM Radio on CM7?

The CM FM Radio app seems to just enable Bluetooth and I get nothing coming out. Yes I did plug in earbuds.

I seem to have the same issue with Spirit Free. Does FM radio just completely fail on CM7 or is there a way to get it to work?

FM Radio doesn't work on CM 7 or 9 for SGS2. Not likely to for a while either

Known issue, and is very low on the CM team's list of priorities as per Codeworkx' post in the CM9 discussion thread in the past few days. Won't happen.

I used an ALSA control method for Galaxy S to enable FM audio before CM supported FM on the S.

But I guess I didn't get it quite right, as it's resulted in some busted speakers.

So I'm not in any particular hurry to repeat this on the S2, not until the S issues are better resolved. Especially given that I don't have an S2, can't afford one, Samsung won't send me one, and their Remote Testing Lab sucks.

I DID provide some commands to try and FM audio enable the S2 at one point, but nobody had any success with them, and I had no further ideas.

Doesn't the MIUI ROM for the S2 support FM now ? Their code remains pretty closed though, so little chance of seeing how they do it.
