[Q] Front Camera suddenly not working

Hi,

i just noticed that my FrontCam isnt working anymore... :eek:
Dont know if this is caused by the rom or the Hardware?! (OrDroid 7.1.0) :confused:
The Cam always worked fine in Skype or anything else, its not realy often used.

Someone had any idea to test or any other help???

just pluged in adb and read the log cat whe opening the mirror app..

Try flashing ruu. If it still isn't working then its a hardware issue. Send phone to warranty

  • Create a NANDROID backup now.
  • Wipe everything before ROM installation.
  • See if the issue resolves
  • If that fails, perform a restore.
  • Change CID & re-install 3.32 firmware & check if issue resolved. #
  • If that fails, then hardware issue for sure.

#Flashing firmware won't touch your ROM, so don't worry.
