[Q] full market access?

can't find barnacle wifi tether on market and i want to install it. the free tethering workaround worked yesterday but today i'm having issues getting past the authentications. do we have a tweak out yet for unrestricted market access?

i know i can put it in airplane mode and find it, but i'm not near wifi right now :/

cant help you with barnacle wifi but you can do this to unlock tethering without paying ATT

To activate Tethering we only need this:


Menu - Settings - Wireless & NetworksMobile Networks - Access Point Names - Menu - New APN, Enter these settings:

Name: AT&T
APN: wap.cingular
Proxy: leave blank
Port: 80
Username:[email protected]
Password:CINGULAR1
Server: leave blank
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: wireless.cingular.com
MMS Port: 80
MMS Protocol: WAP 2.0
MCC:310
MNC:410
Authentication Type: leave blank
APN Type: leave blank

yah i did that yesterday and i was having trouble today. i'll delete the apn i made and redo it with those settings, maybe something i have is different currently .

compared my setting to those and i'm not seeing the MMS Protocol: field on my phone, otherwise mine are the same.

I use Market Access. If you are rooted and can install unknown apks then get that.

I change my app store to the TMobile app store to get barnacle then back to the ATT app store once dlo'd

Sometimes you can use Appbrain to trick it into letting you download things, but not always.
