Just got my HDMI cable and found the first problem with my Transformer. Sure, I have some minor bleed but it's only noticeable if you're looking for it. This HDMI port, however, is definitely a problem. The cable seats well in the port but the port itself feels like there's some play between it and the chassis. I often have to jiggle the cable for the device to detect the connection and then it's often so touchy that the slightest shift will break it. And if I jiggle it just right I can cause an instant SOD on demand.
I had none of the other major issues folks have discussed but looks like I'm going to have to contact ASUS tomorrow anyway cause this is a definite hardware defect.
