Since you asked me for suggesting a good rom for your device....then i would say it is ... SVN 1.7 ROM.... I am using it currently and its smooth as butter...good battery life and is quite stable....

And if you want to try the Slimbean ROM i ported for our device then, here is the link for the same:

Please make sure you read the OP in detail... coz although the ROM seems to work fine there are things that dont work

Hi, Shrewdy long time I did not use my E120S. I updated it to rom MK1 by kies but I would like to root it and want to try the SVN 1.7 rom. So need advice and link for CWM Recovery for my present rom.

you have to press and hold volume up + volume down + power button past the samsung logo

Its simple buddy ... switch off your phone

Then Press and hold both the Volume Buttons along with Power button (Press all 3 at the same time).

As soon as you see the SAMSUNG logo ... release the Power button (but keep holding both the volume buttons) until your phone boots into recovery....

SVN 1.7 Message Center Not Set

Hello everyone like the S.K.R.T SVN rom 1.7 for E120S, everything seems ok for me but can not send message because MESSAGE CENTER
NOT SET. I installed com.android.vending.apk no result. Even can not write in the box message center. Please advice me.:crying:

I am happy with this ROM too (SVN ROM Version 1.2) but my Message Centre shows NotSet, and when i try to change is says cannot change, I edit com.android.mms.preference.xml it worked but it get back to NotSet when restart, i have been flashing ROMS on 210S but never got this issue, any help will be appreciated.

find Not Set in "com.android.mms.preference.xml" and replace it with your message center number, restart messagaing service, it will work till you restart you device.

I have an idea to replace "com.android.mms.preference.xml" file with my message centre in the zip ROM and then flash it, I will test it and tell you. i don't know it will work or not as the md5 might differ, let me try

i have a solution for this service centre no is the function of framework.jar
i have attach this framework.jar file
paste it into framework and there is no need to change service center no again
its work great for me only for shv-e120s
