Most likely will, but without a sms fix, it's not much use imo. ICS is cool and I did put up with the stock messaging app for a while, but after I found out I wasn't receiving every text, it just wasn't worth it.

What country are you in Algian? I'm in Australia and I was on stock ICS on my E120S and found out after a few days that I didn't receive some text messages. I sent 20 separate texts to myself from my brother phones over 2 days, and I didnt receive 3 of them, although on his phone it was shown as sent.

I' m totally agree with you. I' m in Turkey, I can reveive every sms but not MMS . The question is why we have this issues. Because of samsung or operators ?

I sent and received 2 images and 2 messages over 160 char with stock messaging app and gosmspro and both worked,

This is the program I used to download the file, https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B90aBBkpJZ8tMGhYRlpJUEEzaFE but I forgot where I got it from, it might be from the site itself.

So once you downloaded the file, I first wipe data/factory reset and wiped cache, then I just flashed the md5 file. When the phone first booted, I waited 10 minutes but it never made it to the home screen, so I reinserted the battery. 5 minutes after it still didnt get past the loading screen so I reinserted again, then it worked.

No problems so far, but only tried it for around 10 minutes.

I tried sending and receiving sms and mms with 7 other people today with gosmspro and it all worked.

Yea everything is working the same as on Teamleader 1.3. Kies or Google Maps won't update, I guess I'll try grab the apk from somewhere.

Hasn't crashed or froze so far.

I don't see why not, I had rooted 2.3.6 e120s before I tried this rom. I'm a noob myself, I just followed the instructions from other people's posts. People always say to do nandroid backup, yet I still don't know what that is.

nandroid backup is basically backing up ur rom

go to recovery -> backup and restore -> Backup

and ur done

this is called a nandroid backup

I can' t see "restore and backup" section. You mean menu which opens when you press power and volume buttons right?

HELP!!! HELP!!!!!! Need all the stock apps of SHV-E120L

I just flashed a ROM XTGT 2.3 from a chinese website... After I flashed it there was no keyboard as well. Today I found out that there are so many things things missing like talk. music player, video player and all. Even most of the widgets are missing. So, any one who has installed the stock ROM please post all the apk files in the the folder /system/apps in a zip file here. waiting for your reply guys..

I never did any backup,restore or anything. I just manually reinstalled the apps again.

Well I followed everything to the letter and am my second batt pull after 15 minutes. Nothing yet. Crossing my fingers. Everything on Odin went great and got the Pass sign. Not sure whats wrong? Phone wont boot to recovery.

copy any keyboard (.apk file) to sd card. Install it from there.
After that, you can have keyboard and to Playstore to do any other things.

I think that ROM is very lite and fast. I love that one.

Yeah but I can't install Talk and some other apps so I hope you guys can post all the apks so that i can choose and install in one by one..Especially I am hoping to copy some widgets to the system folder.....

Has it worked yet? Overall including taking the battery out twice, I waited 20+ minutes for it to boot up for the first time. I took the battery out because I thought it was stuck on the loading screen since it was taking ages.
