[Q] Galaxy S ii lte HD E120L/S Root/Roms?!

I'm using the XTGT2.4 ROM right now, and heres my review:

- battery life is bad (around 6 - 7 hours of normal usage)
- slow and heavy, seems to be a lot of things goin in background
- gmail not auto syncing, keeps showing error messages when reboot
- sms working perfectly well

Before XTGT2.4, I used sorg's ROM, but I settled for this at the moment.

Wow I would love to try another ROM for E120L, could you share the download link please?

Agree with it being slow. It doesn't come with many apps or bloatware but something is making things lag.

Nice bro, thanks a lot. I'm gonna try your ROM later, as I'm currently trying to flash XTGT2.6. Quite dissapointed with the 2.4 version which is very slow and laggy (just like Youngpic48). Often FC on multitasking apps, and suddenly the phone reboots itself, very annoying.

But nevertheless I still have hopes that the XTGT2.6 has an improved system. I'll update you guys after a few days of usage on it.

Yes I have it for around 24 hours now.

Its basically the same as the 2.4 version, but I think they managed to enhance the battery life slightly better into around 10% per hour of normal usage.

The lag is still there although not as bad as the 2.4 version. Gmail still not autosync-ing, had to use a foreign app to do so.

Sms working just fine, 160 chars per message.

Hallo i am new to android
i used to have windows phone
until i decided to go for the E120L
i bought it from HK and i am in Greece
it came with android 2.3.7
and i upgraded it to 4.0.4 with kies

but the gsm signal is pretty bad
it was also and before the upgrade

what can i do?
what can i gain if i root it?
how i will root it?
do i need to root it to get a new rom ( without the korean language )

i have SHV-E120s and currently having stock rom 4.0.4 just want to know any body tested Fox rom 2.1 those who are using or used foxrom v2.0
i am currently having only one issue that is sending complete 160 chars sms

Everything is working fine for me.

Wipe data and cache then flash with odin, then wipe again after flashing

Still waiting for the update on e120L ROMs.. Want sumthin like the ROM chickencube posted there.. too bad its only for e120S..

now using XTGT2.7, not much improvement, again only slightly better than 2.6.
