It'll no signal if you have selected WCDMA only. I hate the lack of frequency support... so sad

@socim what is the rom u built?can you provide me some details about the rom?thanks!!and plz. teach me how to install it on my e120s.

I've tried and it works! Except for the photo sphere feature that is.

You can also install the 4.2 clock widget from

Im now on the latest cm10 build by socim and everything is smooth, no random reboots, bln working, capacitive lights working, camera forceclose fixed by using the 4.2 camera apk above.

I know you're probably tired of hearing people ask, but do you have a file for this?

I find this thread incredibly confusing to follow as everything is released as a Google Drive/Docs link spread all over the thread. I know you're working on E120L because you own it, but that E120S port might get more love if others (like me) could test it.

yes' I know that archive need to be extracted, but I've downloaded this (29/10) file several times, by DRIVE app in android, than tried to extract and got error on 30%
copied file to comp, and got same error, than downloaded file by safari browser, and got same error on extraction

I have tried too. I can take a photo sphere but unfortunately i cannot view it after finished shot...then i back to the FC one.

Some guys told me it works well if open the camera from gallery, but it seems not work for me...

Someone told me that the rom for e120s works well but recovery doesn't work. If so please find another instead.

Im in New Zealand man, though id just say that to let you know how far your ROM has gotton.
Okay, Anyways, ive CWM flashed your ROM to my E120s, and it works insane.
just thoughtd id mention to things tho aye, as I havnt seen them posted back in the last few threads
- The Devices auto rotation goes where ever it wants, so not working.
- and its smooth to the days, except when entering or leaving an app it stutters through the animation

Maybe its just me NOOBING it, but hey thought id share whats happening here.

For correct auto rotation please replace libakm.so with this one: https://github.com/Socim/android_vendor_samsung_e120/blob/e120s/proprietary/lib/libakm.so

Sorry I don't own an e120s, so cannot test which works or not.

Hi Socim I found some time to try it!

I flashed the recovery you provided, wiped data and cache, then flashed the following:
cm-10-20121029-UNOFFICIAL-e120l-signed.zip
cm-10-20121030-e120l-update.zip
cm-10-20121030-e120l-update-320dpi.zip
Camera-noFC-no.storage.select.option.zip
google apps pack from wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Latest_Version/Google_Apps

I then wiped data and cache again, just to be sure, and rebooted.
looks like the ROM works (woo Jelly Beans!) but I still can't send any SMS messages. I haven't received any yet, but I might still get the same "unknown sender" problem as before. The call function seems to work... data is still quite slow.

So... I'm upgraded to 4.1.2, but my phone still isn't working! boo What do you think I should do?

Also, I need to do this wipe data/cache thing every time I flash a ROM? Should I always just do a backup through the recovery so I don't have to go through the trouble of reinstalling apps and all that?

ok I updated with the file you linked, doesn't seem to have changed anything, still can't send SMS :/
I downloaded Go! SMS to see if using a 3rd party app would make a difference, but still getting the same error

don't have any to borrow right now. I'll get home tomorrow night and Monday I'll go over to the AT&T store and see what's up. I think I'll change over to use them instead of T-mobile anyways.

The Nexus 4 is starting to look pretty darn good right now

Hi Socim,

my device network always tend to drop, this happens frequently. Can you tell me what I need to do for prevent this issue.
Problem also existed when phone was with Stock ROM and I have installed ur CM10 ROM now, when it was with stock rom sometimes popup appear which says "IPC Communication error press #99004#" something like that. Now in CM10 I am not getting any pop up message but the problem still exists. (Signal drop, sometimes the signal bars getting vanished.)
FYI: I bought this device from Korea and currently I am in another country. I suspect this is a network lock? But sometimes phone calls works too.

Thanks for the great ROM, its working cool, for auto rotation i replaced libakm.so but i don't know why it did not worked, then i extracted same file from zhibin99 ROM (saved on my drive) auto rotation is working fine now.

i cannot download Official gravity modify.Zip by LONGHUISHEN (any help will be great)

i tried Android 4.2 Apps V.4.0 (Camera,Clock,Gallery,Keyboard) on your ROM all works good but cannot save video.
