Do you develop a fix for battery drains? I lost 30% of battery after one night without using 3G or Wifi.

I have done nothing...i have just reposted the rom so that everyone can access it easily...

Btw...battery drain may occur in the beginning...but then it shud stabelise...happened the same to me too...

And i have just posted the rom...there is no kernel saperately...

Hi folks.

Really sorry for my absence was busy with some other things...

OK...So i was able to downloaded zhibin99's ultimate rom....after quite a many attempts.... and yes its working just fine **...

NOTE: This rom is for Galaxy S2 HD LTE SHV-E120S device only... i am not responsible if anyone with some other device flash this and create trouble for themselves...

Now there are some positive and negative sides to this rom .... but this is purely according to me... you may or may not face these.

+ points of the rom are:

1. Messaging not limited to 80 chars anymore....its 999 now....and has a lot of options like in CM10...also earlier i had the problem where i restored my old messages and was not able to see them....but with this rom i got back all my old messages...:good:
2. Its already rooted, so you can enjoy fiddling around with your device...
3. Ripple effect on lock screen....looks so good...
4. Has a built in call block mode....

- points of the rom are:

1. Seems a little slow to me at times....
2. I also faced a little call connectivity and wi-fi connectivity problems....

Point to note:

1. Before flashing this rom i was running stock 4.1.2 ... that i found in this thread itself...but after flashing this rom Clock and Messaging apps started crashing...so i booted into recovery and cleared data and cache....basically factory reset the phone and now things work just fine...
2. There is an option to show weather info on lock screen...but when i enable this option the app still crashes...and i dont have the solution for this...
3. The built in keyboard is absolutely useless... at least for non Chinese users.... make sure you download the jelly bean keyboard and install that...

The actual file size was a whooping 900+ MB...so....
I have divided the main file into smaller chunks and uploaded it to my Google drive account...

You can use WinRar to merge it back to a file.... if you dont know how to do this....you can search that on google...:highfive:

its a rom by Zhibin99 and is Jelly Bean ...

You can give it a try...
I am finding out more roms for our device ... if we can get a cm10 or miui ... i think that will be awesome... :laugh:

I am not on R2 rom but still i have faced a similar issue. I call someone and there is no sensation no voice ... nothing at all...but the call is actually connected...

I wonder if there is any solution for this...

In a day or two i will be flashing a new rom by zhibin... its still downloading...will update u on the same...

You are right buddy ... the option is not there .... but may be u can use the Sports mode option ... it is available under ...
Camera > Settings > Scene Mode > Sport

Guys when I bought this Phone (from a guy) i had a ROM that had Samsung Galaxy s3 multiview and all the UI was quite similar. it was a ROM based on 4.1.2 JB that's all i know because in my stupidity i didnt backed up and I didnt looked in setings to see what rom was it so i can find it again if i need. Does anyone know what ROM could it be?

JME2 is 2nd official Jelly Bean build for SHV-E120S variant, pushed out by Samsung. Just connected my phone to Kies and updated.

It doesnt have the fix for SMS limitation since it is stock firmware from Samsung.

After updating to JME2 very rarely i faced no voice issue

Did you enable usb data transfer on the phone? You should see the phone's memory show up as a hard drive in My Computer. Also, if you are still using a modified bios, it will not let you update. I flashed my phone back to stock ROM before upgrading via KIES.

i updated to JME2 as well today, but lost root and cwm (6.0.1.9 no longer installs). i was wondering if you had similar issues and what did you do? i can't seem to find a cwm that works. tegrak doesn't have a kernel for JME2.

I am on the same boat. There is nothing out there as far as a simple root such as cwm or tegrak. The only thing I've found is one of zhibin00's cwm recovery roms which is based on JME2 but then it is so modded with Chinese stuff that I can't use it and flashed back to stock.

I just want to root my phone so I can get rid of the bloatware. I hope someone finds something soon but in reality, it is not a big deal as I have those apps hidden. Just bothers me knowing they're are still there..... lurking.....
